Spinal Research, Marathon Consultancy's charity of the year, is one of the leading international charitable organizations in the field of spinal cord injury research. Over 40,000 people in the UK suffer paralysis as a result of an injury to the spinal cord, many due to traffic accidents and sports injuries.

Spinal Research is funding research into treatments to repair the spinal cord and restore sensation and movement to those paralysed by spinal cord damage.
